In autumn the tree rich Pyrenees mountains are screaming with colors. So taking pictures in color is a natural must and indeed beautiful. During my visit a depression kept hanging over the mountain range, giving the sun little chance to shine through. What remained was the misty atmosphere also typical for the autumn period. Contrary to picturing the rich yellow, orange and red in color, shooting in black&white seemed the appropiate way to best capture the faded tranquil autumn atmosphere.

Most shots are done with the Fuji XE2 with 18-55 and 55-200 lenses. The last 2 pictures (Lescun-valley and morning-cold, @ 200 iso) are taken with the Panasonic GF1 and 14-45 lens. At low iso I do not see much quality difference compared with the Fuji XE2. But in color I like the Fuji outcome better and at high iso Fuji is way ahead.
